Opening Hours

The Learning Tree Kindergarten operates all year round to support the needs of busy working families.

Our core hours are 8.00am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays and our Christmas closure period).

An Early Bird drop‑off at 7.45am is available upon request for an additional charge. Must be pre‑booked in advance and is subject to availability.

Afternoon Session: 1.30pm – 5.30pm

Full Day: 8.00am – 5.30pm

Preschool Extended day. For children aged 3–4 years who receive Government Funding and are attending full days, our opening hours are: 7.45am – 5.45pm

Minimum Attendance

To secure a place, we require a minimum of four sessions per week, for example:

Two full days, or
Four half‑day sessions

We’ll arrange a series of bespoke settling‑in visits, during which we’ll learn all about your child’s preferences and routines so they’re fully supported and ready for their first day.

Fees

Full fees are inclusive of all educational enrichment activities and enhancements, outings and trips, nappies and wipes, formula milk, drinks, breakfast, mid-morning snack, and afternoon tea, depending on times of attendance.

A two-course freshly cooked lunch is also provided inclusively for children attending all-day sessions and 0-3year olds attending morning sessions only. Additional lunches can be added upon request to half-day sessions, subject to availability. (£4.50 lunch, plus cost of extra time required.)

Discounts

5% sibling discount - for sessions siblings are in joint attendance. Discount applied to eldest child
10% twin discount - applied to one child
5% discount - Police Officers/ Firefighters/ Teachers/ NHS medical practitioners - please check for eligibility
NB Discounts applicable to full fee paid hours only and cannot be used against funded hours. Only 1 discount can be used per family.

Funding

At The Learning Tree Kindergarten, we accept Government funding to support our families with the cost of Early Years Education and we offer a number of options for how parents can utilise their funded hours.
